A few things I enjoyed recently, and maybe you will too.

Hi! Is January absolutely cruising on by for you too? Usually this month just creeps along, but we’re already a third of the way through. February is a short month. March usually shows up with a few nice days in the mix. So I think we’re on our way, guys. Practically through this winter nonsense.

Going to start sharing some weekly highs and lows on the weekly recs posts, so let’s jump right in!

+Highs // Going out for dinner with some friends on Saturday night. I’ve been such a homebody lately. We had a houseful of visitors over the holidays and my social battery felt so tapped out when they left. Jumping right back into work didn’t help, so my weekends have been the hunkering down variety. This week was the first time I’ve gone out with friends since Christmas and it was just really nice. Some pizzas, some glasses of wine and some live music. It was great!

+Lows // The winter freeze is here and our temps have been in the single digits. I’m trying to stay positive about winter, but when it physically hurts too much to go outside and take a walk, I start leaning into seasonal despair. Small potatoes though, and I know it’s only temporary. Onward!

As ever, the images are direct links -

Kate Spade Winter Weekend Sale // Lots of good finds here! I pulled together all of my picks here, but the gold stars are the Cosmic Star Earrings, Wavy Rainbow Phone Case, Domed Double Zipper Crossbody, and the - lolololol - Hot Dog Ring. Nobody does off kilter luxury quite like KS.

Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid // I’m a few years late, as usual, but this book took me right back to TJR’s universe where the characters weave in and out of each other’s books beautifully. Remember Carrie Soto? The skank that stole Nina Riva’s husband in Malibu Rising? This is her story - five years into retirement, she comes back to women’s tennis to defend her legacy title. She’s 37, which I know sports old is different from old old, but dang, they treat her like she’s freaking elderly. Really enjoying this one!

Dolce Vita Sneakers // Optimistically looking to spring and freeing my ankles once again! I scooped these up and stare lovingly at them in my closet. Can’t wait to wear them!

ZeroProof Saint Viviana Cabernet Sauvignon // any dry January-ers out there? Or dry whenever-ers? I did a full taste test on this and for a NA cab, I think it’s a good alternative! Smells like wine, looks like wine, tastes a little grape juicy, but overall is very nice!

Lands End Sherpa Quarter Zip // Has been my best seller all month, so I think you guys like this as much as I do! Cozy warm pullovers just speak to me, you know? The colors and sizes are running low, but they are very well priced now ($20ish, I think.)
