Pink? Yes please.
Last week, my coworker who is also my good friend (this feels integral because I’m about to steal her style with her approval), showed up at work in these pink shoes. We live in a cubicle farm, so there’s no sneaking in, and I generally turn to wave or at least smile as people pass by but I swear she runway’d past me and I gasped and probably shouted “Ashlee! Your shoes!”
At first, I was hyperfixated on pink shoes and she graciously assured me that it wouldn’t be weird if I wore pink sneakers to work too. Not the same ones - I’m not totally weird - but something in the same family. So anyway, I began prowling a bit and as I bounced around the internet, I found a whole sub-genre of athletic footwear that comes in every shade of the rainbow. What a happy, cheerful trend!
