Spring Style Finds to Get Excited About

There is something about that first nice, sort of warm day in the spring that gets me all kinds of fidgety and excited to start shopping for warmer weather. I start imagining myself on patios with pitchers of margaritas, or perched up on the beach with a book in my hand and my toes buried in the sand. I almost never imagine myself sitting at my cubicle, gazing out the window, although that’s where I’ll spend most of my time. Happily, the internet is serving up spring outfit inspiration that makes excited to get dressed for all of my summer adventures, including the 9-5 grind.

1 — The Gap || Tie-Knot Mini T-Shirt Dress in “Off White and Black Stripe”

Look, there’s nothing I love more than a t-shirt dress that can be dressed up or down and this beauty is the epitome of that.

2 - Old Navy || Extra High-Waisted Taylor Wide-Leg Trouser Suit Pants in “Silver Gray”

A workhorse and also a bargain. I imagine myself swishing around the office in these semi-formal trousers that are generously built with the high waist this mom-bod feels most comfortable in.

3 - Abercrombie and Fitch || Slip Maxi Dress in “Blue Pattern”

This is giving me all the European Summer Vacation vibes I’ve been dreaming of. I’ll take an Aperol Spritz while sitting under a black and white striped umbrella on the Almafi Coast please. If that’s too much to ask, going out for drinks with the girls, or a dinner date will do the trick too!

4 - J. Crew Factory || Beach Shirt Dress in “Lotus Bloom Bohemian”

You can always count on J. Crew to pair bright colors with preppy stripes. I love this casual shirt dress and double love that it comes at Factory prices.

5 - J Crew || Capitaine Shirtdress in “Linen”

TBH I saved the best for last. This dress is everything I love, but mostly a perfect, high quality basic that can be dressed up for the office, or down for a dinner date in flip-flops. Takes that cost per wear down enough to justify the investment.
